POST-SECONDARY NON-TERTIARY SUPPORT 

What is Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary (PSNT) Support

 

Support for students seeking to attend NSW Government funded fee free courses in Agriculture is now provided by BCEF for eligible candidates to assist with travel, accommodation and other ancillary course related costs associated with attendance.

Criteria

  • Geographic isolation from TAFE and/or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) services.

  • Disadvantaged by a low family income.

  • Extenuating circumstances.

Supporting Documentation 

  • Current or past recipient of AIC and/or LAFHA allowances or BCEF support.

  • Other special extenuating circumstances.

  • Students must reside and study in NSW.

​

Payment

  • Payment is made in instalments over course duration subject to satisfactory achievement of required results.

  • Funding is provided on a pro-rata basis.

  • Students will need to keep receipts of actual expenses incurred at the completion of the course.

  • Completed application forms and all required supporting documents need to be submitted six weeks prior to the closing application date for a course.
